At Arrowhead Pheasant we have a safety first policy and expect our guests to act in a sportsman like manner at all times. To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable hunt we require our guests to abide by the following rules and use good common sense while hunting in the field.
- A valid Ohio hunting license is required for in state residents.
- Hunters must check in with the club manager before entering the fields.
- Blaze orange must be worn while hunting at all times (vest, jacket, hat or coat).
- All guns must remain unloaded with actions open unless actively hunting in the field.
- Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
- Before shooting be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
- Birds may not be shot while on the ground.
- Hunters may only harvest upland game birds, all other species (rabbits, squirrel, deer, etc.) on
Arrowhead property are considered protected.
- Hunters may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Dogs must be under the control of the owner/handler at all times.
- Hunters may not leave trash in the fields and should pick up empty shells and cigarette butts.
- All hunters must sign a “Waiver and Release of Liability” prior to hunting.
- Management reserves the right to terminate a hunt at any time for any reason.
